A songwriting and recording workshop about emotion
Students learn to compose and perform original songs, becoming recording artists along the journey
We explore musical concepts like chord changes, melody, rhythm, and lyric writing, through the lens of emotional expression
The culmination is a finished original composition and multi-track recording, an understanding of how true artists make music, and a joyful foundation with which to keep creating

Guitar Player Studio
Let’s learn an instrument we’ll want to keep playing
Kids know and respond to the guitar as an instrument that is used by their favorite artists across genres
Students as young as K learn to read and play chords and melodies, and get valuable experience making music with their peers
We make learning fun through performance games, learning to play the class’ favorite music, song writing, recording our creations, and the inherent joy of making music
